Maths Subject Lead with TLR2.1

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and inspirational Maths Subject Leader to join our school in a class/key stage that is well-suited to their area of expertise to join our middle leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our school to ensure sustained and continual improvement across our school with a particular focus on the development and leadership of mathematics, early number acquisition and mastery in maths. We would welcome applications from talented and ambitious teachers who have the drive and energy to succeed.

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Start Date: 1st September 2022

Key stage: EYFS/KS1/KS2 depending on candidate suitability

Salary Type: MPS / UPS plus TLR 2.1

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of subject leadership, preferably maths or other core subject areas
  • Is passionate about learning and has the ability to motivate and inspire children and staff
  • Can demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and high expectations of achievement and behaviour Creates exciting, stimulating learning opportunities through which children are motivated to achieve their very best
  • Has a proven track record of raising attainment and accelerating progress with an understanding of the potential barriers to learning
  • Has an excellent understanding of the curriculum and assessment across the primary school age range; particularly in maths
  • Is highly motivated to develop further professionally
  • Takes a proactive approach to leading school development and has the ability the lead mathematics resulting in rapid and sustained improvement by supporting and developing other staff
  • Is able to successfully hold people to account for the impact they are having on pupils’ learning.

Class Teacher

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and inspirational classteachers to join our team in a class/key stage that is well-suited to their area of expertise; applicants with a particular interest or expertise in EYFS or upper KS2 are especially encouraged. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our school journey to ensure sustained and continual improvement across our school. We welcome applications from talented and ambitious teachers who have the drive and energy to succeed.  Although initially a 1 year fixed-term contract, there is potential for a substantive position in the future.

Contract: Full-time, 1 year fixed-term
