Job Person/Summary:

We are proud of the effective, inclusive provision that is offered at Mason Moor Primary School, with mainstream and a resource base class (from Springwell School) working closely together. The ethos of our school ensures that every child is known well and is valued, with each individual being encouraged and supported to achieve their very best.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Headteacher with curriculum responsibility (dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant) from September 2019. This position is not class based however there will be some teaching responsibility (e.g. SATs support, booster groups, release cover).

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Senior Leadership Team to ensure sustained and continual improvement across our school. We would welcome applications from talented and ambitious leaders who have the drive and energy to succeed.

  • Can demonstrate exemplary classroom practice and high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

  • Has an excellent understanding of the curriculum and assessment across the primary school age range.
  • Takes a proactive approach to school improvement.
  • Has experience of and a drive to lead, support and develop other staff.
  • Is a strategic thinker, able to manage change.
  • Is highly motivated to develop further professionally.
